I witnessed true human kindness and compassion today, proof that good people still exist.
Traveling with a coworker today at the airport we came across a young mother who was obviously distraught and didn’t speak any English. So we tried to help.
The taxi was holding her luggage because she was $20 short for a $69 taxi ride 😕 my
Coworker Immediately offered to pay the tab and help her to get checked into her flight that leaves in less than an hour. He then took all her bags to get checked (5 big duffel bags) She didn’t have the money to pay for her bags, so he then put out another $200 for her bags.
She was about to miss her flight, so he picked up one of her babies and ran through the airport with her to make it to the flight.. he went out of his way for a stranger who just needed some help.
Not all Heroes wear capes. Today the hero is just a regular guy who I happen to work with, and now admire tremendously 🥰
